I getting paid for what I loved doing; being in the outdoors, riding horses and working with kids. TVRC is more of a home than a camp. The staff and camper are family and the camp functions as a home with meals all together and activities throughout the day where each of us learn and grow in our skills. This was more than a job for me, it was an opportunity to gain valuable skills in areas that I am passionate about and to cultivate lasting relationships with the people I worked with.
Thanks for sharing Anna Eggimann ! It sounds like Teton Valley Ranch Camp was an amazing place to work. I'm happy that you were able to gain such invaluable skills! What do you think is the most important thing you learned while working there?
