I ended up quitting from the Whataburger I worked at because they basically screwed me over on the raise. You get up to 50 cents raise every 6 months you work there. I was trained on all stations and was even training to be shift leader. They refused to give me any raise after the 6 month mark and said my info got messed up in the system, but then they gave a girl that had only been working for 2 months and only trained to be front counter cashier a 50 cent raise. I worked there for almost a year, I’m grateful I had the job because I needed the money. But the way I was treated by most of the management, seeing what they do behind closed doors, I would not want to work there again. The “favorites” game is played way too often, at least at my location it was.
