Field Nurse Case Manager at Anew Home Care

Lisa

I am recently in the job market as a Registered Nurse Case Manager, and I am finding that most of the potential employers are now only utilizing contract employees initially, and then they are offering positions. I was wondering if this is a regional issue or if this is the norm throughout the USA? I am in the Midwest.

Hi Lisa: That's definitely interesting! I think a lot of employers are making this move, and I can only attribute it to something like dating - they want to make sure you're a good fit for the organization before they offer the full contract. It can be good for the employee, too; you get to try out different organizations so you find the one that you really like!

That's a very interesting question Lisa! I can't help to answer but am interested to see what other Jobcasers have to say.
