I've gotten 6 awesome jobs and several crappy ones in the last couple of years- offer letters, paperwork filed, direct deposit info etc, until they run my background. Then they tell me no way or they ghost me. I have over 20 years of sales experience, a degree and even worked for Microsoft for 5 years. But bc of these felonies, I am treated like a scumbag. This is all my fault and I'm doing my best to repair my life, but it's so hard when I can't get a decent job anywhere. I even lost a job telemarketing time shares, and another selling electric services door to door commission only.

My felonies are for possession of controlled substances from 2014 and 2015. I'm on probation now and have had a perfect record, passing every random drug screen etc. I've been clean for over 4 years and just want a chance to be successful again!

Sorry to ramble, but I am so frustrated. I'm having to take manual labor jobs that almost kill me, for very little money. I'm 49, and a single mom of a disabled teen. I also care for my 82 yr old mother, who lives with me. I am so close to foreclosure it's scary. I hope you have better luck than I've had. There is a jobs for felons website that has a lot of leads, but mostly warehouse jobs. Good luck!
