Degree vs no degree

So I have plenty of experience but I do not have a degree. ...why are alot of jobs requiring a degree for entry level positions? Should I still apply?

I'm in the same boat and if my experience is in line with what is needed I apply anyway.

Yes, especially if you have the experience. That could work in your favor over someone fresh out of school with no experience.
