Current work as a hospital housekeeper through a temporary employment agency. Want to apply to a certain company for a full time permanent position. What's the best way to apply?

I'm trying to apply for a permanent full time housekeeping position at a local hospital. I'm currently working there now with their Environmental Services Department at Enloe Medical Center, Chico, CA. I'm frustrated because I've completed a job application with Compass Group, Crothall company, but this site says there's no related jobs available. However, I was recently told by my employer that there are positions available for a full time position in Housekeeping. I'm not sure what else I can do online .

Hi @Karen Boots , if you are looking for a direct hire job opportunity at your current temp assignment you may have to complete an online job application at the Hospital career website. If you don't see the job posting/listing then verify with the human resources department at the hospital and confirm that the hospital is actually hiring Housekeepers.

You should also check with your temp agency recruiter and verify if they have any hiring agreements for temp workers. Most agencies require employers to buyout or pay fee's to hire temp workers on permanently. Make sure you understand the process before you move take any further actions in order to avoid breaking any employee/employer policies and procedures @Karen Boots .

Happy to hear you found a job that you are excited about! Keep us updated on your progress with this employment opportunity :-)
