Beware not all non-profit are the same!
Do your research before giving your time and money to a non-profit. Thank you for wanting to volunteer and give your time to help others. Just be careful how much money really goes to helping others and how much goes to helping the CEO. (note: This chart was from online. Check with each charity individually to verify amount of each dollar given directly to those in need).

Isn't UNICF the organization that makes all those depressing commercials showing starving children across the world? Alarming!!! Goodwill is also a shocker.

Chart is wrong. United way has 81 cents of every dollar going directly to charity. Plus it's just unreasonable with several large charities only giving 0.08 on the dollar?. Really?.
