Health and Administration
I am feeling disappointed , I received my Bachelors Degree in Health and Administration in 2014 and cannot find anything in my field. I know it takes time, patients and perseverance to get what you want. Here in S.C, I have worked as a Teachers Assistant, and I have worked for the disabilities board and various other jobs. I would like to know if anyone is hiring or if they can lead me in the direction of possible employment. Most employers want you to be licensed and have years of experience in this field. I am 47 years if she and still have many more years in me, I would be grateful for any help.

I disagree with Enrique Stacey. They do want educated employees. They want you to be able to step in and not interrupt the production processes already in place. I posted to another jobcaser yesterday that glassdoor.com posted 16,000 openings within 20 companies for April alone.
Fusion Medical staffing has 2900 positions to fill. Check to see if SC is on the list for them.
Northwestern Medical wants to place 1800 people this month.
The competition is fierce, so selling yourself is the immediate goal and challenge. Also I remember that the 7th Day Adventists are maximizing their medical staffs this spring, mostly in FL, but SC is so close.
And all throughout NY and moving south to FL, hospitals are expanding and adding wings and personnel to accommodate the baby-boomer rush they are expecting next decade.
Research these and other sites as well, so as to stay abreast of the growing needs in the medical industry.
Here in UT there are always a few dozen postings from Abbott Industries (medical tools), and the immediate healthcare industry like Inter Mountain Health Care. But there are several here, and they are all hiring.
Disappointment seems to be a big part of our job searching results, because there are so many which require a minimum BA or BS in an operational field of study. Only one place I've applied had 7 or 8 previous applications, but the majority are from 45 to 400. So we can can easily be overlooked. Stay tough Stacey. Know you are worth their efforts when they finally find you. Help them by researching the industries in your area, and then the surrounding areas to see if you should relocate. Lastly, President Trump just released the hold on Federal hiring. Several people were ousted for numerous reasons and those positions must be refilled (mostly administrative positions). Best to you during these trying times, and throughout all your endeavors. Respectfully, Philip M Brockman

Stacey, i encourage you to keep doing what you are doing, there is nothing more disappointing then not being given the chance to do what you desire to do. I to have the same experience in this field of work.As i too have graduated in 2014 with no job in my field. I realized that if the door isn't open for me then it isn't the job for me but i keep putting in applications and i haven't lost hope, Here's the thing do you want to work for someone who sees you by the history of paper work they see, or for someone who is willing to learn of you and grow with you. There are people out there like that and a door will be opened for you, stay encouraged and dont loose hope. Continue to put in applications and keep doing the follow up calls, as my General Manager tells me all the time some one will give you a chance just wait for the right one.

Hi Stacy Well I don't know how to break it down to you But you are going to have a tough time looking for a job like that you are very well educated and to some employers it's like they don't want to hire you because of that. They would rather hire somebody else that does not have a degree so they won't have to pay what you are worth in that field.Where you can look for work is my best suggestion would be in hospitals there you would find the job you are looking for it'll take time but you will get it good luck god bless and have pride

Stacey I know disappointment is our emotional response to a failed expection. Sometime we don't know how to repair the damage cause by this devastating landmine. I have experienced situations inwhich I was very discourage for a season. Most importantly we must turn to GOD, as long as we are talking about our hurt. Tell you the truth no human can't help but "GOD". (Bless you)

Hi Stacey: Thanks for posting on Jobcase! Since you work as a teacher's assistant, I would suggest to look into moving up in career in administration in the education school system.
