40 hr work week
What happened to the 40 hr work week? I've been getting interviews and during the interview I'm told it's a 50 to 60 hr work week? Have these employers not heard of work life balance? Do they not realize employees are more productive with rest and breaks? After 8 hours mistakes and accidents are more likely. They state it's not management positions yet want to pay salary and calculating an hourly rate with the 60 hrs you're lucky to be making minimum wage. How is this even legal?
Well it's not legal in Florida that's for sure because if you work more than 40 hours a week even if you are on salary they have to pay you overtime

It's not. That's why they call it salary. Then they don't have to pay overtime. Thank obamacare for this!

Where I work we have been working 11.5 hour shifts Monday -Friday and 8 every Saturday. This has been going on since March 2017. I can handle 50 hr weeks but anything more is stupid.
Ask your government.
