Ugh, sorry to hear you r dealing w this Corey. Usually employers have vaca policies associated w your employment agreement. If u violate them this could result in a termination. But for almost ANY infraction you should get a warning discussion of sorts. To b fired out- of - the - blue is abnormal and problematic for the employer. That said, i'd suggest chalking it up to a learning experience and focus on finding a new job w an employer that you can get aligned with regarding your work-life balance preferences.
