Appropriate attire/intellectual capacity

Sometimes we believe if we dress nice that's the one all be all, while wearing appropriate attire is important and sets the firs impression that people see. Secondly having the capacity to problem solve in real time and not constantly have to be monitored by supervisors or mangers are more important than dress.In closing I would like to say I have met several people who are shells devoid of learning capacity because they chose to fill there time with other things that are inconsequential to there betterment

It's funny, as attire has changed so many times in the past forty years toward business, and interviews. I will wear a suit, or shirt and tie to the interview, but polos are my favorite depending on the opportunity. I never wear jeans except on casual day. In the southwest states, and western states they are laid back about interview and work attire because of the heat. The Midwest is shirt and tie all year. They say clothes make the person, but that only gets you in the door. Your actions toward business is what will keep the job for you. Listen, and learn is the best way you can get started.
