I currently work for a state university as an international admissions officer. After attending an info session in project management, i decided to enroll in classes and even attend review sessions to get my PMP. I've asked my professor which jobs should i apply first since i do not have a real experience of project management but only small bits here-and-there. I can see myself in project management and i believe its the field i want to get into. And if its possible, my dream is to apply to a start-up company because i want to learn as much as i can. Only problem with this situation is that i've applied to almost 50-80 companies for the past couple of months and i barely get a response. I have configured my resume and even created a cover letter. Any recommendations or advise?
