I definitely don't think it's wrong! We get used to what we're doing at the moment and hopefully start to like it. I would suggest finding what you can bring from what you were doing before into your promotion. They obviously promoted you for a reason! I'm sure you can find some of those same things you were liking before. Best of luck in your new position!
