Pretend your a teacher....
If it cost to share wisdom and knowledge teach your personal views and voice your opinion,would you still be so eager to teach?To devote your time?by the way the cost is not money nor just your time, it's to lose what you know,to be emptied of what you teach, as well as years of your life..
I don't have to pretend I was a teacher : ) I loved my students and teaching. I helped them learn how to become stronger readers and writers. I shared books and stories that I loved. You DO give a lot of yourself to your students but that comes with the job. Teaching isn't right for everyone. I never felt like I lost myself, but I went into it knowing it would be challenging. Wishing you the best Nick and hope you can appreciate all of those who have taught YOU.
