Where can I get training to qualify for a Shift Lead job?

You can look into training programs offered by local community colleges, vocational schools, or online platforms like Coursera or LinkedIn Learning. Additionally, popular job search websites like Indeed and Jobcase often feature job listings for Shift Lead positions that outline specific qualifications and requirements. Good luck with your training!

If your in experience in food production and have spare time while at work ask to follow an actual shift lead around for however long you can see what needs to be done and how they actually do it and then you can use and find your own way of doing it it’s hard to take a class on these things corporate managers sometimes say things to get things done and have never stepped foot in a production kitchen
How I got the shift leader experience I got was working my way up at each job I had. The easiest way I know of to do it is to take every extra shift you possibly can. If the place you're employed at has an app like the crew app or something like that it helps you find available shifts to cover and when you're working stay busy. Never lean and talk and carry on. Always find things to do. My motto was if I have time to lean I have time to clean. Also career fairs. I would check in my local area and some communities offer free courses or programs for employment too
