Feeling Discouraged
I have been looking for work since July and I’m baffled as to why I’m not getting anything. I’m also homeless and this even compounds my situation even more. Any suggestions. I can use all the prayer I can get.

It's crazy because I've been in your exact shoes and when I did get a job, I applied for a temporary rental assistance through social services while scouting for a landlord who would accept welfare checks for security and rent, so maybe try that out and see where it takes you. In the meantime, have you tried a shelter to at least have a place to rest your head at night? Also, see if you have a Catholics charity in your area, because they place you into homes and help you get food stamps and general assistance until you get on your feet.

I’ve been applying for jobs since July too and haven’t got one yet. But people I know apply for the same job and get it.
Shellie I know is very stressfull. I hate this idea of letting humans being in the streets. Keep working for resolve your situation. I'm sure will be over one day. Please dont give up

Shellie, I so understand. I have a BA in Psych too with years of social service experience. Very difficult to locate a new job. currently I'm an independent recruiter.
