Is Money a good answer to the “What motivates you?” Question in an interview?
it ‘s not a sales job but rather the complete opposite. It’s a laborer position with MasTech that’s physically demanding and 12 hour work days, 6 days per week. Yeah, I would like to eventually like to learn the business and grow with the company but honestly the biggest motivator for me right now is the money I can earn with (OT). How do you thinks a manager react to this answer?

Call me please anytime would love to have a interview for a position. Melanie LaPrairie 863 210. 6387 thank u.

I see where your going with that answer Charles but stay away from saying it. I have had those jobs where it long hours of hard physical work where all I though about was how much money I was making in to help me get through the day but mgmt thinks about what you will do if the OT goes away. Play it safe and keep you answers to learning and growing in the business.

Don't say that anything about the money even if it's true. That's because EVERYONE who wants the job wants money.
Your goal is to get the job no matter what. Your goal is NOT to be blunt and say "Oh, I want this job for the money" because the hiring manager might not like that answer. Do everything in your power to get a job offer.
