It's never too late
At the beginning of the year I had applied to around 100 design jobs in less than a month. Was offered a pretty good job from all of those, but then decided to leave beginning of the summer to pursue some other projects. Well, earlier this week I got a call from one of the other jobs I applied for asking me to come in for an interview! I just wanted to let you all know that it's never too late to hear back from someone and don't lose hope! You never know when something will be coming your way.
From my experience, large companies usually post jobs a quarter or two ahead of when they need them, but then the opposite for small companies. When I was looking for a job, I found a start-up that needed me within 2 weeks, but all the big companies I applied to, it just dragged on and on. It's definitely tough out there.

Something similar happened to me too! I applied for this job and then 4 months later I get a call from the hiring manager asking if I'm still interested, and if so if I can come in for an interview. It's crazy they keep us hangin for so long!
