Bringing your dog to Home Depot
I work in the hardware department at home depot and it’s usually pretty stressful. Tons of customers with unclear questions can get really frustrating after awhile. Plus its a nightmare to go on break because I have to work thru other departments and always get stopped to ask questions on things i don’t know much about and can’t leave them until I find someone who can help them.. Anyway I love when people bring in their dogs! Being able to relieve stress at work with fluffy dogs is amazing and makes work so much better.. So if you have a good dog please bring them in to make your local home depot and make their employees day!!

I need a good job for rent

I work there also, take your apron off before you walk through the store.

Take your work shirt off when you go on break. This way no one will know you work there.

My brother is 80 years old and works for Home Depot. He is in the lawn and garden department. They make him come in at 5 AM to water all the plants, trees, bushes and what not. Meanwhile he is selling lawn mowers, tractors, grills, and all their accutrements. He is making money for the store but they don't seem to care about all his sales. They still want him watering for 4 to 5 hours. It is mindless and thankless work for someone who is making the store a lot of money. Can't understand the thinking behind it. What is the bottom line here? You would think sales are more important than anything else. It is a service business and the customers should come first. They can get a teenager to do their watering while my brother makes sales..

I work at Home Depot and am afraid of dogs. Not to mention the store officially doesn't allow dogs unless they are service dogs. Dogs are a potential liability to Home Depot should they hurt someone or get into something that could hurt themselves. You should get a dog for your home, but a good way to get fired is to encourage people to do or not do something at your workplace that brings liability to the workplace.

Good God

It sounds like you need some love in your life. You sound fun to be around.

As a customer I hated when you ask where things are and they don't know. And I hate dogs.

Take your apron off when u are going to break!!
I can understand why that would be stressful, glad there's something as simple as a cute lil furry friend to help ease some of it :) Dylan ... where all have you looked for a job in your area ??? Henry
