Lately I've found a small habit that helps me feel better about my day and more productive overall. Every morning at work, I list out three things that I am thankful for, and three goals that I want to accomplish that day. I like doing this this way, because it gets me in a good headspace for the day and lets me focus on doing what's important without being overwhelmed. It's a good feeling when you see you accomplished all three goals, and even if you don't, you know you'll have another shot tomorrow. There are so many habits and techniques and methods you can adopt to be more productive, but I think there's value to finding what works for you and making it easy to maintain. Doing something easily and habitually rather than intensely only once in a while can sometimes pay off more in the long run. #motivation #habits #gratitude

Terabyte Andrianoff I love this! I've been trying to incorporate things that start my day off on the right foot -- I try to take a little time for myself before commuting in, as that itself can often be stressful. Sometimes that's taking a few minutes to finish the coffee I made, writing a journal entry, or allowing myself a few extra minutes on my skincare routine to help feel relaxed. Thanks for sharing!!

I've had great success with doing a version of this exercise at a previous job. We called it the "Grateful Book" and on Friday before we left for the weekend all team members would list 1 thing they were grateful for and 1 thing they "wished" for. It was always fun looking back and seeing if the wishes came true and also helped in putting what we were grateful for into context. I couldn't agree more with you @TerabyteAndrianoff, finding easy things that become habits add so much more value than trying to force a massive changes overnight.

Making lists and goals are what drive me forward as well Terabyte Andrianoff ! What I LOVE is that you also write down what you are appreciative of, because it's easy to lose sight of that. Great post, thank you! : )
