I was subjected to sexual Harassment by two co-workers for the past 6+ months , I tried several times to resolve the matter with them and warned them that if they did not leave me alone that I will file a complaint with management and seek to have the matter addressed...So that is what I have done. Two days later, I have discovered that one of the co-workers was presented with a offer to work in my company's California warehouse for several weeks...He will be provided with a paid airplane ticket, rental car, hotel room, spending money, promotion and higher wages opportunity, and then returned to our NY warehouse. He will be provided with full reimbursement for anything he wants to purchase in California as well .
Am I wrong to see this offer as a reward to him for my Harassment complaint, which is still pending. I was assured by management that corporate takes the complaints of Harassment very serious, yet, they instead reward him with this offer?
Does anyone know of a lawyer In Albany, NY, who will represent me in a lawsuit for this discrimination by my company?
