Ticked Off!

I had the best interview that I've ever had with an employer, the place seemed like a great place to work, everyone was so nice to me and it was for a position I was really eager to do. The woman that managed the paperwork there who also happened to be the owner of the place was somewhat difficult though. She took quite awhile to tell me if I was hired or not after the Interview (she wasn't even the one who interviewed me) and when I finally heard I was hired, she made someone else tell me even though she was the only one who was supposed to handle the hiring process. She also was very rude to me on the phone whenever I'd call to check in, to the point where she even yelled at me over the phone! Well, after I was initially hired she was supposed to call and let me know when to come in for the pre screenings and paperwork but of course never wanted to talk to me when I'd call. This whole thing took an entire month, and that was just to find out if I had been hired or not. I found out just the other day from a Worksource agent who I had asked to contact the company for me, that the owner had actually sold the entire company and left the state leaving it in new owners hands who were wanting to shut the whole place down. This had happened actually several weeks ago and nobody had told me until now. It took over a month to find all of this out which could have been spent looking for other jobs and instead! I'm unbelievably ticked off by this and very disappointed because I've been searching for a job since last October with no luck. Very disappointed with how this company treated me. #Bad #disappointed #job #jobless

This company is extremely unprofessional and should have you the heads up since you were hired. However, based on your story, it seems there were red flags everywhere.
