Got a Job!!
After 11 months of unemployment and frustration i finally got a job through a friend! My boss is great, its filled all of my criteria i wanted in a job!! I was signed up with every agency and pretty much gave up on them. Is word of mouth the only way to get a job these days?
Some things are worth the wait.

Way to go Beverley Longoria !!! Word of mouth aka referrals do help tremendously, but it's certainly not the only way. If your resume and experience showcase your talents then you will do well. Congrats again on the new position. If they didn't think you were qualified regardless of who you knew they wouldn't have hired you.
Word of mouth is extremely effective, however, it may be the most underutilized job search tool. You did it right, and now we celebrate with you in landing an outstanding job!
