Frustrated
On January 10th I just got terminated from my job . I am still frustrated and sick to my stomach about it and I have applied every where and so far nothing!
You should know that any potential employer will check with your prior boss to see why you were terminated. Make sure you have an understanding with your former employer for a fair reference.
Why was there a termination?
Good evening Aileene!! Maybe this is a goid time to vet on your knees and ask the Lord above to give you the strength and courage to continue in your search...then start at 7:30 in the morning and hit the pavement, go door to door to the types of businesses you would like to be employeed by and keep your eyes open fir other types of businesses in your area that may be fun to try something new.
Aileene, How do feel when this time elapses and you are at another position, employed and feeling so good about yourself again that you almost forgot everything from the previous employment! Did you waste time learning what you didn't know then but do now? Will you benefit more with that exposure so when this experience happens again will you be stunned how people made you feel that you need to move on? Is there a trail of bodies left behind, and scores of reckless spending that you need an entire brokerage firm to unravel the mess? Ummm, still doesn't feel or sound like Aileene, does it? Frustrating, do believe you are not alone my friend. Still feel like growing some more? Don't you smile girl, there are more of us out there. Smart, do one better, resilient, you to? Ummm, twice, that's more than once, going forward, lick my wounds, back at it again. Still sound like you? Another job, one with more potential and advancement and better jingle? Yep still sounds like me, Aileene. Don't lose any sleep, Legitimate morning, progress, happy, will work earnestly a good bit of the day again, maybe all day. Take a break occasionally, maybe even eat something, true, wow, did I feel compete just then, Wonder how long it will take me to feel this accomplished again? There, all grown-up, mature women, got the big girl attitude. Look out, its just me! Do well Aileene, I think there's hope for you yet! Does God have a sense of humor? I'm just asking. Daniel C. Apply places with less turnover...if you just need a job...look into the government sector local and federal
It does not feel good to be terminated but its probably best you deserve better and find a way to learn from it. Count your blessings, explore what you really like doing. Volunteer and try staffing agencys. Sign up on these job sites thousands emails get in the way getting a job, join groups network.
Keep trying and will get a good one you would like love.
Do the grocery thing better than fast food til you find something else
Sorry to hear that but keep your head up don't give up when you give up is when things get bad there lost
I hope you not just depending on the online systems. It can be agonizing after awhile! They tend to either not contact you or send you in circles. Do the leg work or try a.different field.
