What are you a genius in?
Someone just sent me this quote by Albert Einstein. I confess to not having heard it before but I really like it. I think Antonio Brown is a genius on the gridiron but he's not likely a great computer engineer. I have great computer engineers building Jobcase for all of us, but I am pretty sure that most of them don't know what I mean by "gridiron"! Everyone has different talents. I have often found the most successful people I know are the ones that don't worry so much about what they do not do well, but rather really try to get better and better at what comes a bit more naturally.
What are you a genius in?
Me? I guess it turns out I am a genius in picking partners (or maybe just lucky). Friends, wife, business partners, Jobcase team-mates. Any success I have (on whatever metric matters) probably is attributed more to those around me than me myself. But I guess I am smart enough to know who to surround myself with.
So..... What about you? What are you a genius in? I'd love to hear some Jobcaser thoughts on this. I am pretty sure if you do a little honest introspection you can figure out how to focus in on that genius.
I would say I am good at making things happen, a person of action, and also at documenting processes - creating procedures, training others, oversight, administration, communications. I am also usually not too fearful of speaking in front of people, so if you need that done - here I am. Also good at being a "McGuyver" type - fixing things, figuring out how to use random methods/items for make things work in a pinch.

Professional organizer.. not compulsive but I'm good at arranging things so they make sense.
I like the quote and the message but this is a tough one for me to answer. Unfortunately, I'm one of those people who spends most of my time thinking and worrying about the things I'm not good at. I guess I'm a good listener or a Genius Communicator if that counts. Thanks for getting me thinking about my personal gifts this morning.
