Looking for a soild position
Hello, my name is Pam, I am 56 yrs old & looking for an Administrative Assistant position in my area. It seems we have a lot of those positions out there and I am applying for those positions but I am not getting any call backs. My resume might be too long but I have great experience. .my typing is not what it should be , I am not as fast as I use to be but I am very organized & detailed in my work & I am a fast learner on the computer. Any suggestions out there for me? Thanks!

Hi Pamela: Happy to help! Have you been following up with your applications? Try calling each employer a few days after submitting your application. Let them know you're checking on the status of your application, and when you should expect to hear back. It's also a great way to express your interest in the job role!
