Although your post doesn't give all the details, it sounds like wrongful termination, and worth taking to court through either the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (federal) or what we call in California the Department of Fair Employment and Housing. Meanwhile, keep looking for work and don't get too distracted over the legal matters, as these take time.

That's terrible Brian! I'm really sorry to hear that you were treated that way. You must have a tremendous amount of experience after 17 yrs! Any good dealership will want that - keep your chin up.
