Having troubles at work
I found a job as a temp and became perm i just past my 90 day probabtion and now my manger just threw me into a new department i have to train someone to do my job in one day. I have a union and dont like the new department doing research all day and being an assistant to someone isnt what i signed up for manager changed her tone with me as well. I hate it now at this company can i complain to my union grin and bear it or look for a different job. I was doing enrollment and contributions. I asked about going back to contributions she said i will keep it in mind if a position opens up. I had no say so with this new position can companies due that or is there a hidden agenda because no one wanted the position please help shed some light for me i am more of a numbers accounting person not a researcher helper person
None of what you explained sounds right. Read over the conditions of your job offer and look for language that outlines this expectation. Then speak to your union representative and try to get a better understanding of what led to the job change and what you need to do to get back. Definitely start testing the waters for new employment opportunities.
