What experience does Costco need?
Do you actually need warehouse experience to work at Costco? I see they have jobs for cashiers, stockers, and bakers, but it’s all under the warehouse category. Can anyone clear this up for me?

I can do cashier stocking sales and greater

My experience is and warehouse, stokers and Cake Decorating. Orders and inventory.

work in warehouse any of the open mencioned is Costco Duties

Have experience in ALL those areas, would love to work for Costco.

Need a job

Jessica nailed it. The brand itself places themselves in the "warehouse club" market. If in fact you want to work in the backend or central distribution it would be a true warehouse job. However to work in the "store" warehouse experience is not needed. Be a team player and show that you are excited about the opportunity and that you are very trainable and you should be ok.

I have 10 years of warehouse experience.

You don’t need warehouse experience for those job roles, Costco just refers to their store as a warehouse. I can see where it would be confusing!
The only job at costco that is actually considered "warehouse" would be the stockers and forklift drivers. The one thing that EVERYONE that works at the wholesale locations needs is excellent customer service skills. We all interact with members whether you work on the front end, bakery, food court, gas station or anywhere else in the warehouse. Even the forklift drivers and the stockers. We are always expected to put the members first and "go the extra mile". There's 2 hints on Costco terminology for you guys. They are not customers, they are members and we go the extra mile for our members...
