How to sell makeup in the Far East
I have advertised my makeup business in Social Media and there is a lot of interest from the Far East. How do I economically go after this market and get them to purchase my product?

Is this a direct sales job like Avon/Mary Kay/Limelight, etc... or is it handmade cosmetics that you make and sell online.
If it is a direct sales company, check your back office for information on international sales. Some companies/products are not cleared to do business in foreign countries and you don't want a compliance violation.
A lot of foreign countries (just like within the US) have unscrupulous customers who are looking to take advantage of home based businesses. They will tell you they do not have a credit or debit card and will send you a check or money order for product. You will get a check but it will be for an amount greater than the purchase. They will ask you to cash it and wire the difference back to them. The check will bounce and you will be responsible for the cashed check and overdraft fees while the customer has "the difference" free and clear.
If this is your own business with product created by you, understand that any shipment you fulfill may not even make it through that customs. Shipping cosmetics overseas is tricky because countries have a laundry list of chemicals and compounds not permitted for passage through customs. You will need to familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations. You will also have to determine international shipping and VAT tax.
