Have you voted yet?

I voted by mail 📬this election, which was SO much easier than waiting for hours in line (last time it literally took me over 2 hours to cast my ballot). It made me think of this article by @Elyssa Duncan on getting paid time off to vote.

I guess the only difference this time is that I don't get a sticker??

My mail in ballot arrived on Sunday so very late. Instead of filling out and mailing back; I filled it out and dropped it off in a Ballot Drop box by a voting station today. Super easy and quick.

I voted in-person about 930am this morning. It took 38 minutes. Personally, I'm happy to see the large turnout on election day.

If you haven't voted yet go in person! Make your voice heard. In Oregon mail-in ballots have to be received by the end of today, so it's too late to vote by mail. Many places have no lines too!

I voted recently via mail in ballot. The last time I did was in the 90s for Ross Perot. I went against my instincts because I know the system is totally corrupted. It's been that way for a century. My father as elected for local office and won but was quickly arrested by the sheriff many years ago in Texas. He was jailed and threatened with charges whom the sheriff assured, would stick. Truth is, Corruption is systemic at the local and upper levels of Government. Yet people, still believe in a Pollyanna world where sunshine and lollipops thrive. I do. But we shall see. Oh, lastly.
