Requirements of the Assistant Director of Nursing

Valid OH RN license 2+ years nursing supervisor experience 2 years minimum of long term care leadership Must have understanding of local, state, and federal laws and guidelines Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team Duties of the Assistant Director of Nursing

Perform administrative duties such as completing forms, reports, evaluations and documentation as assigned, Oversight of direct nursing care provided by nurses and nursing assistants to ensure compliance with the plan of care and resident’s preferences, Monitor and audit nursing care as assigned. Report outcomes and interventions designed to bring about improvement Assist with training and orientation as assigned.
