The toughest part about landing a job right now is...
Nobody seems to give a call back on the job with the job I applied about an dozen of these company know my business .Very disappointing when the way you have to go about this I just want to work after 40 plus years in my trade find it extremely difficult to find work I’m very skilled in my trade just want to work
Your not in software development or IT are you? The problem with that field is everybody wants someone skilled in the "new" technology, so people with legacy skills in PC desktop development, Delphi development, C/C++ or (heaven forbid!) FORTRAN are screwed! Only in "modern America" can someone be a skilled tradesman for 35 years and not qualify for any jobs in his field today!
I have about 30 years in mine & have been dealing with the same thing for months now.
Same- people are playing games right now! I’m dealing with fools everyday wasting my valuable time! Most of them have no intention of hiring - or just looking for perfection!!
