To much experience

After relocating, I'm having a hard time finding a job. I think I have to much experience. I'm willing to take a lower wage, but I don't want to cheat myself.

Syreeta, I'm impressed... You not only are a veteran, but you got BRAINS!! Lets hear it for those who wore the uniform..... Now the question..... Don't over price yourself by asking for some inflated wages. Find out what your job preference pays in your AREA, STATE, or NATIONWIDE!! Then you fall somewhere in the middle for a start price. See a good MA in Virginia starts at $8 hr.... But a good MA in Atlanta starts at $15 hr. so now you see the difference between the states. I know a MA in Texas that earns $12.25 hr., so do the homework before you over or under price yourself.... Good job search....

Do not say to much experience for if you take into consideration the work others do it is something different then what you do. Experience is the hand of the beholder. Always put your feet in their shoes and try to imagine what they do everyone in my opinion has to much experience. You will learn something new the person on the other side works just as hard.

Sometimes you do need to be a little flexible. Also make sure you are following up on your applications. You should also talk to recruiters at temp and staffing agencies who could also help you.
