I have worked for tli for 3 1/2 yrs and had went on my paid vacation with my co driver , he had went to the doctors and found out he could not drive again , I had Informed tli and I was told that I would have to wait until they found another team driver for me I kept calling them to find out if they did then about 3 days ago I found out that I did not work there anymore.... This company has consistently lied to me and has not paid what they said they would ... So please if you want to know more about this company Google them and read all the remarks there just be careful

Endora, I'm sorry that this happened to you. Certain trucking companies are not trustworthy (like Swift--they constantly shorted my ex-husband on his pay. I was with him on his lower 48 most of the time as a rider). Please check out different companies before you apply to drive with them, and see if you can talk with other drivers that work for the companies you are looking at. There are good ones out there. Be diligent in your research. Also, recruiters are there to shine the best possible light on their company-take what they say with a grain of salt. About your being let go like you were, document everything!!!! I cannot stress that enough!!! You need proof of your situation. Write down what they said, what you said, everything!!! Don't exaggerate, but don't leave anything out. Write down the facts--no emotions attached.
Hello Endora sorry to hear about that but that should tell you something about trucking companies DON'T believe the requiters at the trucking companies, all they are there for is to get drivers in the door. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do your home work on the next company you are going to go work for. I have been driving longer than you have 10 years there are a lot of great companies out there. How many miles do you average? What do you haul ? Have you thought about going solo driving? I average 3,200 to 3,700 a week by my self and I love it . Please do not take it personal companies are doing a lot of things that they should not do to people. i agree with Maria and John go get some professional advice from a lawyer.
That's so unfortunate not to mention dirty on their part. Have read some of these comments and you have people here that really care and want to help you. Still good people out there!
