YOU are to blame!

I made EVERY excuse in the past NOT to push myself to do what I love. My job literally made me sick with stress and I knew It was time to leave, but I was scared of the what if's. These are the things I told myself...ready?

My marriage and family won’t survive my making this change I’ll be too old by the time I make this change I don’t have what it takes to reinvent myself I’m out of touch I have nothing special to offer

NONE of them were true! You are the one to blame for your own path, no one else. If you don't like the one you are on take this as a sign to make a change. You don't have to settle on one thing, but you do need to figure out what you want and go for it.

Life is too short...read more, learn new things, explore your options, and do something about it!

Disabled but ready to go to work.

I am 62 yrs old, and I am finally able to do what I love - writing! I have done everything else to help put food on the table, and help pay bills, but now with me being disabled,(medically) but with God, I am Blessed beyond belief! My husband has finally found a good job, and we can - breathe again, and hope, Praise God. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13. If you have a gift, use it, God will give you a way, don't throw it back in HIS face, He will give you what you need to utilize your gift to HIS glory and your joy, peace and happiness. Blessings to all.

This is so true. Whenever I came toa crossroad in my life i tried to weigh the good and the bad and it wasn’t until I asked God for help that things turned around for me. When my husband passed, I asked myself what I was good at and what I loved doing and I went after it. Age wasn’t on my side, but with Gods help, I persevered.

Try this. Forget fear mongers. Back in the 1930's, it was said that by 1950 much would be automated. We witness then what took place. Humans were still needed. http://www.futuristspeaker.com/business-trends/101-endangered-jobs-by-2030/. I agree with Anthony. If there's something you want, go get it. With adaptability, you'll find solutions, and you'll be needed. After all, if the average life span is 84 years, you still have plenty of life left.
