Hey everyone just letting you know if you get an interview from mavenir systems unless it's it India it's most likely fake.... at first I thought it was real until they said they were sending me a check to buy my hp laptop and software, at that point I knew it was a scam, I played along for a little bit, I almost spit out my drink when the guy told me a "test" of my accounting abilities would be to deposit this 5000 check via ATM. Just out of curiosity I brought the check to my bank and we verified it was a scam... the company is based in Richardson tx, the guy said he was based in NC and the check was from Hawaii... as always please don't fall for these idiotic people and never deposit a check you don't kno here it came from

I also have been contacted by 2 different companies which said they would send me a check. I do not get a good vibe from this and their writing and very poorly.
I caught on based on the opportunity was too good to be true, $40 an hour for secretary work from home. Also their grammar was awful and I got some bot responses I could tell were from keywords. When I explained that I will be verifying the check before I cash it they said it was offending. Then I explained it is because of my 20 years in financial law experience that they would know if they really looked at my resume... they stopped messaging me. 😁😆
Thanks for the heads up - I too was victim to one of these job scams - luckily the bank caught that it was a fake - I tried turning them in - but they are usually smart enough to not have a "home office" which can be detected.Bottom line - if it sounds too good to be true - it is! If they do not own their own domain - its a fake - real companies do not use gmail, yahoo email, msn mail for work . Unfortunately there are a lot of people who are looking for work and end up falling for this stuff:(

Yeah I experienced the same thing went through a whole interviewing process uploaded several different apps in which to complete this interview process one being discord another one being signal and then asking a lot of information about cash at Bitcoin and so forth I figured this was too good to be true however I was hoping that it would be a legitimate job opportunity as I'm in need of employment nonetheless if it sounds too good to be true generally it is
