Unemployment NJ
Good morning, I applied online for unemployment a little over a month ago. When I check online my status is Pending. I have tried getting through on the number they provide, but always busy. I received a confirmation # when I first filed and it states that they are working on claims around the clock. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks Ashley. Luckily enough I have saved for a rainy day, but it’s been over a month and bills have to be paid. I understand that UE is on overload and I feel a months grace period is being patient. The problem I have is there is no one to follow up with. The number provided is always busy. It’s very frustrating and jobs are scarce since so many people are out of work.
I experienced this in the past. You really just need to keep at it. If it says "pending" it is likely they are working on your case. Things are incredibly backed up so try to be as patient as possible. In the meantime apply for work and check out some jobs hiring now.
I have tried to get my money for 2months. One check in 2 and half months .cant reach anyone so im screwed. Goodluck
