Worked at Toys R Us for 9 years
It saddend me when I heard the news of Toys R Us closing their doors. I feel for those that will be jobless. Especially the few that I still know work there and have for many years. One of my best memories is the craziness when Star War movies are about to come out! Customers line up and jump at getting those toys. Sometimes arguing over who got what first, but in the end were happy with what they got. Toys R Us is the only store that has everything imaginable. The younger generation will not know the thrill of seeing and touching so many toys. This place will be missed by many.
Feel so bad for all the employees who will be out of work. Toys R Us was a special & fun place to shop and work

This is the way many brick and mortar companies are going due to the internet. Anything can be delivered and they can charge less online because they don't have to have a storefront or stock any merchandise. The internet has changed our lives and not all of it in a good way. Sorry you lost your job, hopefully something better will come along.

I agree it is a sad time for all with Toys R Us closing all their stores. We all grew up around Toys R Us & have alot of Good Memories !. We will all surely MISS them. :(
Very sad about your job at toys r us just pray to god about your problems and another job. Amazon is going to buy the bankrupt company toys r.us.
I agree with you I had,a customer and her little girl in my line the other day and her little girl started to cry because she was sad toys r Us wasn't going to be there anymore. All I could do was cry with her. Everyone want to shop on line now and it's really sad. There are people out there that want to still come in the stores. It's just not going to be the same anymore.
