Possibly consider doing some temp work in those fields. It will get your feet wet and can replace your last job with the field you would prefer on your applications. Good luck

Yes, if you wouldn't mind doing some volunteering with a company that needs some help in their office or if you apply for unemployment they have a internship program that you might try or simply go take a course with that course.

its all in the networking. Figure out which companies you want to work for, then touch base with your network on people who either work there or are in the same industry you wish to move into. This way you get in front of people and can sell yourself better. Not really sure what you did before, but are focus on your transferable skills. Have your STARs ready. Ask people you network with for three contacts. Some will give them to you and others won't, but it never hurts to ask. You would be surprised at how many people want to help.

If you have the time & the money to go to school skip the MA & get your RN license. I've been an MA for 17+ years & while I love helping people, the pay is not good. It's really hard to make ends meet when your single & trying to live on the income MA's make. Good luck to you in whatever you do though!
