Do I need to start lying on applications?
I just turned 29 on September 1st. I have no prior work experience at all, I'm not trained in anything and I never volunteered for anything. The reason for that is because all these years I've been fighting to get SSI disability because I have Asperger's. I was denied but I was told if I kept fighting for it I would get disability and I was also told to not work or volunteer as it that would show up and get me denied for SSI so I was told to just get a lawyer and sit and wait for my SSI to happen. I followed that advice got the lawyer which my parents paid for. I was denied but the lawyer said if we kept fighting it would happen. To make a long story short I was denied several times over because I was told I'm not sever enough to qualify for disability. I also never graduated never got my GED because at the time I was unable to do the work needed to graduate. I could do it now but after all those lawyer fee's there's not enough money for me to try again. I'm also unable to drive because I have no periphial vision at all and my reflexes are slow. I have no credit at all good or bad. I only have $58 in my bank account (money I got for my birthday.) Still though I'm noticing most all jobs require experience and a GED. I been told and very talented and speak well but those hiring don't care what my friends and family think of me and they don't care about my sob story. All they see is no experience and no GED at 29 years old. I have done many applications many interviews and not being hired for anything. I'm applying at fast food places and custodian jobs stuff like that. I am a Christian been praying for work and stepping out in faith applying and stuff but the same problems pop up over and over no experience and no GED. I just wanted to get a job by being honest but that's not happening. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. I keep doing this telling those hiring when they ask that I don't have experience or a GED and I keep being turned down. Do I have to start lying on applications and in interviews to get a job?

Try Goodwill. They are supposed to help people like you. They can probably help you get your GED

Does anyone have any suggestions at all?
