Is there a type of questionnaire to help find your areas of interests to help one find a different career path? I remember taking one which gave me a few other paths to try other than the one I am currently on. I am trying to find a change in career paths that won't eventually turn me off for job. Any suggestions on where to find these questionnaires?

What Color is your Parachute remains a classic, and FREE at the library...

Stengthfinders 2.0 will cost you some money (it includes a password for a quiz to really delineate your strengths- i.e. what you not only CAN bring to a job, but WANT to)

Maria, there is no questionnaire that will do you any justice. You are a unique individual, who was born with some traits, learned skills along the way, and have developed a unique brand by which you are recognized. The best thing for you to do is to take a personality assessment, such as the 16-Personalities Assessment. This will tell you what you are best at and where you will most likely succeed based on your unique personality. Some of us are extroverts, some of us are natural leaders, some of us are natural mangers, etc. Once you get a good grasp of your personality, it's time to move it up a notch and go for the Brain Pathways assessment, which will take your personality and break it down further. Once you get through with the Brain Pathways Assessment, there will be no doubt in your mind what you are good at, what you love to do, and where you will fit best within most organizations. For those strapped for funds, both assessments offer a free "look" which is more than adequate to get the job done and give you a peek into what direction you should be headed. I hope this helps. Sincerely Dr. Terry Southern Organizational Development

Hello Maria, I would suggest taking some career quizzes to get an idea of what you would fit. You can find some by doing a Google search for career quiz. Hope this helps!
