Being a Lead is being a leader and a trainer....yes, you are able to delegate responsibilities to other coworkers, but you have to follow-up with them. Ask if they need help. Another thing that you are responsible for is training. Train your coworkers. Do not have someone else do the training. That's your position. Another thing that I do....I work with my team. If someone is out, I do their job. Your team will respect you more and will be willing to do whatever is asked of them. Last and most importantly! Tell your team " Thank you" at the end of the day. These 2 words goes a long way!

  1. Make sure you know everything about that company, 2 Why is the position open? 3. Was there conflict between upper management and the lead job position? 4. Whom do I report to, and who reports to me. 5. What is expected of you. 6. What type of pay increase, if any? That’s a start. 😊
