Waitress Position
I was in 4-H and we did waitressing at the fair, we did food sales, and served food at the local Seniors Center. I also worked at a group home where I made and served the food.
I am a team player, I enjoy working with people and my slogan is, "I serve to please and I'm pleased to serve."
Outstanding Achievements and Recommendations
I went to Illinois Central Collage to get my Direct Support Professional (DSP) training for working at the group home.
At the group home I received the "Silent Angel Award" given for going ubove and beyound the call of duity.
Work History My first and continued job to this day is a small on-line busiess called Tzitzit Etc. Started at 2003 to present day.
House Cleaning 2003-2014 I worked for 2 private individuled cleaning house, vacuuming, dusting, decorating the house seasonally, minor house repair such as calking, car care, and gardening such as planting, weeding, moving, and lawn care.
Central Illinois Riding Therapy 7/10- 9/11 I took this job as a temp. till they had the position filled. I trained and supervised the volunteers and community service workers. I was in charge on the feed and care of the horses, cleaning of stalls, barn, garden, tack. Packing for horse shows and filing in the office. They said that the barn had never been so well taken care of.
Tazwell County Resource Center 12/11-7/14 Here I was trained to drive a large handi cap bus to take clients to works shop or Dr appointments. Care of clients, laundry, cooking, dishes, house cleaning, shopping for the house, planning parties. I was told that I was the their "favorite DSP" 7/14 to present day, I married and moved to Arkansas. I was a stay at home wife.
Volunteer Work I volunteered at CIRT from 2003 to the date I was hired. I mucked stalls, worked in classes with clients, and worked in shows, laundry, gardening. I worked at our local food pantry, stalking shelves, filling boxes with food, and carrying full boxes. I helped our small local library move to their new location, packing and moving, weeding garden at new location.
