What do you think about this?
I have an opportunity with a great company that has great mobility down the line. The position I would start at is not my ideal position but down the line I could end up in sort of a dream job with the great company. Would you take the position or stay with an OK company in a position I like more but has little mobility down the line?
Think outside the box, there is potential vs no potential and then there is the fear of the unknown. Until you feel comfortable about the transformation and that is what we are talking about you'll remain in your comfort zone. So put a little zest in your life, live on the edge and if you should not succeed then the possibility of you returning to that level of comfort surely is a possibility.
Go for the job ! Long as you stay where you're at you will never know what the outcome could be .you know how we all say later on down the line I should of took the job or etc like that. Have faith and God will Bless it Don't settle for less I say this from experience.
Wow, that's a really hard question!! I think that really depends on what you're more interested in. If the job you'd be moving to would make you miserable, then definitely don't do it. If you don't totally care about moving within the company, then maybe staying is a good idea. But if you really wanna reach that dream job, then go ahead and make the switch.
