Hours and pay

Ive been interested in working at Amazon since they announced the wage increases and I think that it can be a good chance to work for a known company and get my feet in the door. Does anyone know what the hours are like? I read somewhere there you can pick them but its a first come first serve.. So what happens if you arent there to get the ones you want or need? Would really appreciate some advice/insight from someone who has worked there or knows! thanks

You could always read some company reviews on Glassdoor to get an idea!

Military vet. Always looking to improve.

My advice would be to look online at their website and apply to the jobs. You can also google the job and find out how much that position pays and what the hours are like. What jobs have you applied to at Amazon?

General Warehouse Worker

I work in the warehouse for Amazon. The hours and the pay there depend on what you want to do. What kind of work are you looking for?

I know that Ms Jade S Myers has worked at Amazon in the past! She is a great member in the community who provides encouragement and advice when she can. I hope that she can help you and give some insight on the Amazon hiring process and scheduling!

Picker at Amazon

Yeah I work at Amazon. It's alright, the work can get pretty boring but the pay is good and the benefits are decent. Usually you just go to a hiring event and fill out some forms and they cotton swab you and give you a preliminary offer that depends on whether or not you pass a drug test.

As for the hours, they are first come first serve so you can probably manage to be flexible with the schedule. Just let your manager know when you are available. There's tons of work right now for the holidays so you should be able to get some hours. Good luck Evelyn!
