Its hard to find job when you got old
I been out if work for 8 months , I applied but mostly said they call back but no one did. I guess when you reach on your fifties nobody cares about you cuz I think they only want to hire now are young people, sometimes I think this also the reason why some people are on depression state like ne, what will I gonna do?
Dont fall for that whole "age" copout. Its BS.
They leave EVERYONE hanging like that.
Depending on what it is that you do, and where you do it, competition varies.
There are two things that older workers do better than younger workers. First, we are better at thinking things through and looking at the longer term consequences than the kids are. Second, those of us who brush up on our spelling & grammar tend to stand out ahead of the rest. People get tired of "street" language, and someone who can speak, write & spell is a novelty that just might get you hired.
It also helps to stay up to date on the technology. You dont have to use it all, just know how to use it if you have to. (IE: I know how to use Twitter, but I dont use it personally. If I needed to use it on the job, I could )

Hey don’t give up . That’s what I said nobody want to hire you when you get in your fifties to . I have getting interviews but there just not in the right erea.
Hay don't give up on yourself like that so what if you fifty years young its not to the point that anyone don't care its about that you haven't found the right job. Some of these young people don't have the potential nor the experiance you have but in these days and times we must search for a job like a needle in a hay stack don't be depressed nor do you allow a job to get you down sometimes we must be patience and understanding and have faith that the right job is going to come your way employment isn't only hard for the older people but it is hard for the younger people as well just keep on sending out your resume and putting in your application and soon something will come your way.
Unfortunately it is harder the older you are...they should not discriminate against you...the says no age discrimination but they do...keep your head up prayer an keep going a door wil open...good luck

If you can find a job in this country definitely something is wrong!!! Keep it up !!! Pick what ever they offer you (jobs) and then start looking for what you really want to do.Im very old , and I know what you going through, If you really good person definitely you going to find a job!!!
Try going into sales...they usually hire everyone that has a drive to succeed
