Sabrina, do you mind sharing your field? I completely understand, though. I was laid off after 13 years at a company and I spent 3.5 years working at positions I was over qualified for just to have an income. I just this last Monday finally started a new position that is in my field. So what I'm saying is, keep looking. I went through cycles where I had applied for everything to the point where I could tell really recruiters what was out there before they could tell me. I have had to swallow my pride and even worked two jobs for a while. Keep going. Something will happen.
