Relocating what to do
I am moving across the country to Mass in a few months. Just wondering what do you do when you are starting over from scratch?
I’ve lived in Massachusetts my whole life and it’s true ,people in Massachusetts are getting meaner.And the roads are dangerous.
I live in Waltham, Mass. Housing is very expensive in Mass. People are not the friendliest. Drivers are among the worst int he country. There is a lot of taxes on everything. But usually jobs pay more in Mass. But if you join groups then people become more friendlier.
Brace yourself and start praying. I moved from Texas three months ago with a Masters degree and still temping. Good luck.

Depends on what part of Mass and what u do for work just get ready for the cold... I would not move anywhere that doesn't have parking or a garage to park if possible we are expecting 2 feet of snow right now..I would love to move from Mass but its a great paying state with the best doctors and school
No body know destiny of our life . I marriage for 32and devoice . Last four year ago. I start from 0. No home no job no family . I made it and u can. Never to later to start your new life.
It depends can you apply for the same type of jobs as you did before? Why the move?
Been there done that, its wonderful. Depending if ur alone or with family, I rented a storage room and shipped via ups vital things I would need for the next 6months till I got settled. I went on Craig'slist n found a wonderful gal, and was able to shared a house (my own bed n bath, seperate entrance, etc) with another women till I knew where I was working and what area was best to settle in. Get all ur things boxed, marked and identified, put them in a storage room where u r now, then when u know where ur forever home is, u get online to the bidding transport site(if u need that I will tell u), they pick it up and deliver it to u in Mass. Pack ur car with essentials (TV, laptop, bedding, clothes for that season, minimal kitchen items, important documents) and come across country. Adventure r wonderful Treat it like it's a wonderful, exciting experience. You will rock it.
