I can't believe they asked me this!!
I am older I get it, but during an interview recently this woman actually said to me..."How often do you plan to use the company health insurance?" She then tells me she is asking because I am past the age of most of their 'typical' applicants. I felt like I was sucker punched. I am perfectly healthy and active. Hell, I am more fit than a lot of the 20 year old's I see out there! So I ended up going to another job interview that week and thankfully they were welcoming and warm. They seemed to appreciate my experience and ideas. A complete 180 from that other one, which makes me so grateful that some people out there can still see past a person's number. You're only as old as you feel guys!

Why she mad, was she paying you out her pocket ??? Maybe it was not the insurance she was worried about.. People get over yourselves.. We as older people looking fir work because of the economy.. I hate to see my elders working to make ends mete its a shame.. And to have that said to you.. Sorry I would of stopped the interview nicely and walk out. No telling what else was waiting at that job for you.. Just saying..

If you have a Labor Relations Board in your state report that idiot immediately! It is actually against the law to ask that question and/or to try to excuse her clumsy explanation for her obtuseness.

You missed your opportunity for God to show off in you sometimes we are so quick and over step God but this was a opportunity for u to be humble and allow God to make your enemies your foot stool see that very one in position interviewing you God could of turned the tables or either used u in a mighty way that u could of been her boss. Be humble let God fight your battles know that if God open the door he had already provided the way that u can't see but trust him. God bless u.
